I haven’t seemed to be able to find time to blog about our amazing trip to Israel last month. So until I make the time (I had so much fun and learned so much that I feel I MUST share…soon), I figured that I would pop in with a quick post in the meantime.
Between all of the busy summer activities and quick weekend trips here and there, I have been able to work on a fun collaboration with a friend who is a very talented designer and entrepreneur. While I’m not ready to share the designs until we are further along in the process, I thought I would share how M contributed to one of my sketches.
She found it in my discarded pile of drawings and politely asked if she could color in the rest. Of course she could! I love “coloring” together. She gave her girl a missing tooth which I thought was adorable and after she was finished, she handed it to me and said, “I’m sorry that I colored the eyebrows too much.”
In other mother-daughter collaboration news, we enjoyed making these little headbands for her and a friend for the 4th of July. She is quite the art director.
