My husband just had a birthday and I wanted to share the birthday gift I gave him…an oversized print (the biggest size that I could find on mpix.com – the quality is so nice btw!) from a photo that he took over a decade ago at our favorite beach. We have wanted to blow it up for years, but he took the photo back before digital cameras (or at least before we owned one) and we had lost the negatives (of course). I am thankful that I was able to scan his original photo and surprise him with it. It will find a home in his office eventually, but for now it’s a leaner in our hallway. We both love it because it reminds us to focus on what is most important.
