Kid Beach Quilts

Since I wasn’t blogging over the summer, I thought I would share a craft highlight that I completed over the summer. I had so much fun making these beach quilts for the kids that I had to share! I used fabric from Hawaii for Maile.

And I used a mix of Hawaiian fabric and vintage fabric from the kid’s great grandmother for Kai. I even incorporated Daddy’s old board shorts from when he played beach volleyball in high school into his quilt as patches.

I hope they will use these beach quilts for years to come. And I hope it might give YOU an idea for what you could make for your own kids next summer. 🙂
